We only can be in meditation April 26, 2015
“We cannot meditate. We only can be in meditation. When we say we are going to meditate, it has no meaning. We have to be in meditation. Either you are inside the house or outside the house. You cannot be inside the house and then say that “Now I’m outside the house.” Or when you are outside the house, you cannot say, “I’m inside the house.” In the same way, if you are moving in three dimensions of your life, of the emotional and physical and mental being, you are not inside yourself.”
Shree Mataji Nirmala Devi, 30 March 1976
Where to put our attention during meditation? February 26, 2011
Every incarnation is transformation of Niraakar in Sakaar. If during meditation we put our attention on particular incarnation we can achieve enlightenment.
21. Out Of The Forest
And day and night they watch
And meditate upon their master.”
Prashaantaatmaa vigatabheer brahmachaarivrate sthitah;
Manah samyamya macchitto yukta aaseeta matparah.
6:14. Serene-minded, fearless, firm in the vow of a Brahmachari, having controlled the mind,
thinking of Me and balanced in mind, let him sit, having Me as his supreme goal.
Yunjannevam sadaa’tmaanam yogee niyatamaanasah;
Shaantim nirvaanaparamaam matsamsthaamadhigacchati.
6:15. Thus, always keeping the mind balanced, the Yogi, with the mind controlled, attains to
the peace abiding in Me, which culminates in liberation.
Yoginaamapi sarveshaam madgatenaantaraatmanaa;
Shraddhaavaan bhajate yo maam sa me yuktatamo matah.
6:47. And among all the Yogis, he who, full of faith and with his inner self merged in Me,
worships Me, he is deemed by Me to be the most devout.
