Where to put our attention during meditation? February 26, 2011

Every incarnation is transformation of Niraakar in Sakaar. If during meditation we put our attention on particular incarnation we can achieve enlightenment.

Dhammapada :

21. Out Of The Forest

“Awake
And day and night they watch
And meditate upon their master.

Bhagawat gita:

Prashaantaatmaa vigatabheer brahmachaarivrate sthitah;

Manah samyamya macchitto yukta aaseeta matparah.

6:14. Serene-minded, fearless, firm in the vow of a Brahmachari, having controlled the mind,

thinking of Me and balanced in mind, let him sit, having Me as his supreme goal.

Yunjannevam sadaa’tmaanam yogee niyatamaanasah;

Shaantim nirvaanaparamaam matsamsthaamadhigacchati.

6:15. Thus, always keeping the mind balanced, the Yogi, with the mind controlled, attains to

the peace abiding in Me, which culminates in liberation.

Yoginaamapi sarveshaam madgatenaantaraatmanaa;

Shraddhaavaan bhajate yo maam sa me yuktatamo matah.

6:47. And among all the Yogis, he who, full of faith and with his inner self merged in Me,

worships Me, he is deemed by Me to be the most devout.

    Thank you very much for that post. I loved the powerful words. Namaste.

  2. You could have not intended to do so, but I believe you’ve got managed to express the state of mind that a great deal of persons are in. The sense of wanting to help, but not knowing how or where, is some thing a great deal of us are going through.
