‘Kundalini is one of the greatest energies. The whole body of the seeker starts glowing because of the rising of the Kundalini. Because of that, unwanted impurities in the body disappear. The body of the seeker suddenly looks very proportionate and the eyes look bright and attractive and the eyeballs glow.’ |
For the first time I had heard about Kundalini 25 years ago. According this book this power is residing in every one of us in dormant state. There were no any instructions how to awake this Kundalini power. |
At May 25, 1990 I was invited to Sahaja yoga program. Sahaja Yoga is a unique method of meditation based on an awakening that can occur within each human being. Through this process an inner transformation takes place by which one becomes moral, united, integrated and balanced. One can actually feel the all pervading divine power as a cool breeze, as described in all religions and spiritual traditions of the world. |
Kundalini is the power of pure desire within us, a motherly and soothing spiritual energy which lies dormant at the base of the spine in the sacrum bone. Kundalini is a Sanskrit word meaning coiled up likes a snake. The Kundalini is a primordial energy – a living energy that is completely pure and immaculate. It cannot be stained or tarnished. This Kundalini energy lies dormant until it is awakened by a process called Self-Realization. Self Realization is the awakening of the Kundalini through the central channel, piercing through the six chakras above the sacrum bone and emerging at the top of the head (fontanel bone area) as a gentle “fountain of coolness”. |
The Kundalini gives us the connection to the divine all pervading power. She is the spiritual mother of each and every one of us, who nurtures and energizes our spirit. She has always been with us and gives us the capacity for love and compassion. She emits the impulse to search for something higher, for spiritual seeking. She generates the power of pure desire – the power to evolve and to become one with the spirit |
When the Kundalini rises, she awakens the spirit which is located in the heart. When she touches the center of the Sahasrara Chakra we are bathed in vibrations. Then the awakened Kundalini helps establish the sovereignty of the spirit over the different aspects of the subtle being and of our life. As you experience the Kundalini raising it will point out the problems of your chakras and you feel it on your central nervous system as a tingling on your fingertips. The Kundalini nourishes any of our chakras which are out of balance and corrects them. When the chakras are clear enough for the Kundalini to rise without obstacles, we can feel the peace and enjoy thoughtless awareness. |

27 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery. 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. –(NKJV) |
John Godfrey Saxe’s ( 1816-1887) version of the famous Indian legend |
It was six men of Indostan To learning much inclined, Who went to see the Elephant (Though all of them were blind), That each by observation Might satisfy his mind. |
The First approached the Elephant, And happening to fall Against his broad and sturdy side, At once began to bawl: “God bless me! but the Elephant Is very like a wall!” |
The Second, feeling of the tusk, Cried, -“Ho! what have we here So very round and smooth and sharp? To me ’tis mighty clear This wonder of an Elephant Is very like a spear!” |
The Third approached the animal, And happening to take The squirming trunk within his hands, Thus boldly up and spake: “I see,” quoth he, “the Elephant Is very like a snake!” |
The Fourth reached out his eager hand, And felt about the knee. “What most this wondrous beast is like Is mighty plain,” quoth he, “‘Tis clear enough the Elephant Is very like a tree!” |
The Fifth, who chanced to touch the ear, Said: “E’en the blindest man Can tell what this resembles most; Deny the fact who can, This marvel of an Elephant Is very like a fan!” |
The Sixth no sooner had begun About the beast to grope, Then, seizing on the swinging tail That fell within his scope, “I see,” quoth he, “the Elephant Is very like a rope!” |
And so these men of Hindustan Disputed loud and long, Each in his own opinion Exceeding stiff and strong, Though each was partly in the right, And all were in the wrong! |
MORAL. |
So oft in theologic wars, The disputants, I ween, Rail on in utter ignorance Of what each other mean, And prate about an Elephant Not one of them has seen! |
Do you think that Jesus Christ pay for his baptism? |
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. |
But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? |
And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. |
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: |
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. |
