When Jesus Christ was born? November 13, 2012

“And the symbol of Ganesha on one side is Christ. He symbolized Ganesha. So both of them are worshiped only on Diwali. Actually this is the Christmas. This is the real Christmas that was before also and this was the time baby Christ was born; not the 25th of December. It’s a misunderstanding . . . the darkest night where there is no moon, absolutely that is the day when we celebrate Diwali . . . And that is the time when Christ was born. That’s why lights are put on in the night because He was born at 12 o’clock in the night . . . Now see, symbolically, Christ is born and the New Year is celebrated. Next day, as soon as He is born, new year started.”

  1. Here , Shri Mataji says ‘New Year’ in the sense that in North India , many people celebrate the day immediately after as the New Year day.
