DID JESUS PAY? March 12, 2008

Do you think that Jesus Christ pay for his baptism?

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Matthew 3 (King James Version)

My son’s girlfriend was excommunicated for not tithing. We were laughing about that yesterday at lunch. It seems so utterly blasphemous and hypocritical for any church who upholds Jesus as being at all valid in his preaching to be so demanding of tithes. After all, the only violence I recall from Jesus is when he scattered the merchants and money changers from the temple with a strop or a whip.
I wonder if Jesus is laughing or crying over such ingorance?

BTW: totally from a tangential source – Peter, do you believe that the Mind is totally comprised within the brain?

God does not understand money. Money are human creation. I think that we are crucifying Christ every day by doing stupid thinks. But the DAY OF WRATH is close 2012. We will see.

The mind is a myth because is not under our control.

    The truth is sometimes painful.

    Welcome to the real world.

    Thanks for stopping by.

    hello Peter
i have never heard in any of Shri Mataji’s lectures that “the day of wrath” is going to happen in the year 2012. would please tell me where i can read or preferably hear her say this very specific date? As you know, the day of judgment is already here right now. thank you and God bless.

  6. clark Says:

yes Peter, i’ve already read that, but this is someones vision, not a direct statement from Shri Mataji herself, so i take it with a grain of salt. Mother has said these are already the judgement times, and no one will judge us except our own mother kundalini/atma. not at some future date, but right now.
Maybe there are some people who wont listen to The Divine dimension within us, without the element of fear. But unless SHE herself has mentioned (this very specific date) ,well i wont repeat myself. Usually sahaja yogis want the absolute truth to be known to the world, so the fact that this vision has been requested to be taken off of here, to me makes it highly suspect. Although the “maya”n calender is interesting. JSM!!!

thank you Peter for your reply.
it just seems to me that something as important as “a day of wrath” happening on such a specific date, would have been mentioned by Mother herself, at some point, since she loves us so much. thanks again.
